Eleven thousands and three outpatients visiting attached hospital of
Kwangiu-Chonnam branch of KLCA from January to October, 1992 were studied to
know the prevalence of common dermatoses. The results were as follow :
1. The ratio of male to female was 1:1.7
2. The age distribution showed a peak incidence in the fourth decade.
3. The monthly incidence was peaked in July.
4. The common dermatoses in order of frequency were as follows :
dermatophytosis(17%), contact dermatitis(14%), eczema(9%), acne(7%), psoriasis(5%),
seborrheic dermatitis(4%), urticaria(4%), neurodermatitis(4%), viral infection(3%),
bacterial infection(2%) |
