요약 |
Study of initial sites of skin lesions were carried owe in 50 Tuberaloid(BT) and
Borderline Tuberculoid(BT) leprosy patients who had visited to our clinic for the first
time from Jan, 1989, to Dec,1990. And the following results were obtained.
1. Of the 50 examined patients, 33 were male(66%) and 17 were female(34%).
2. The peak age of incidence at which the initial site of skin lesions had developed
was between 11 and 20 years.
3. The manbness was the major early subjective symptom in 25 patients(50%) and
plaques were showed in 9 patients(18%).
4. At the onest, following sites were affected in descending order of frequency ; lower
extremity(38% ), upper extremity(36%) and face(12%).
5. Of the 7 clinical diagnosed BT cases, 6 cases presented the BT histopathologic
findings. |
