A 52 years old male T-type patient revealed hepatotoxic findings by dapsone
administration under his cooperation. He experienced a grave hepatic disease by intake
of dapsone and chaulmoogra oil together on 1957. On may 1981, after 24 years the
hepatic disease past, no significant LFT data were shown except TTT by 50mg daily of
dapsone for 15 days. By 100mg of dapsone for 30 days, jaundice, fatigability, gingival
bleeding and abdominal distension etc were induced, and minimal change of GOT and
GPT data and abnormal data in TTT and Alkaline phosphatase were shown. Subjective
symptoms were subsided in few days, and objective symptoms were normalized within
one month. |
