ABO and Rh blood groups from 1621 leprosy Patients (male 931, female 690) knave bee studied and the following results were obtained. The distribution in the ABO blood group in all 1621 leprosy patients was shown the higher in A type, then 0 type, B type and AB type in order. There was no difference in ABO distribution between leprosy patients and normal control. The distribution in the ABO blood groups of male and female among leprosy patients showed no difference. From the analysis of tIne distribution of ABO blood groups in relation to classification of leprosy, there was no significant difference. None of the patients had Rho(D) negative. From the analysis of the distribution of ABO blood groups in relation to leprosy, it was seemed that there is no relationship between leprosy and the ABO blood groups. |
